Each certified translation is produced on Translatewiz company letterhead and accompanied by a formal certification cover page. This cover page includes a declaration attesting the translation is a true and faithful rendition of the original, along with our official company stamp, the translator's signature, credentials, and contact details. This format is recognised by UKVI, NARIC, and all major UK authorities.

Will your certified translation be accepted?

As members of the Association of Translation Companies (ATC), our certified translations are accepted by the Home Office, UK Visas and Immigration (UKVI), the Passport Office, NARIC, USCIS, universities, and courts throughout the UK and internationally. We also provide sworn, notarised, and legalised translations where required by foreign embassies or authorities.

Standard turnaround for most documents is 2 to 3 business days. If you need it faster, select Express delivery at checkout and we will aim to deliver within 24 hours. Requests that include notarisation, legalisation, or physical postage may require an additional 1 to 2 business days depending on the service.

The default delivery method is a high-resolution PDF sent directly to your email. This digital copy can be printed and submitted with your application immediately. If you need a physical hard copy with original stamps and signatures, select the Postage option at checkout and we will print, sign, and send it to you via Royal Mail within 24 to 48 hours.

For translations from English, we frequently use translators based in the destination country to ensure natural, locally appropriate phrasing. Every translator signs a non-disclosure agreement and adheres to our strict quality and confidentiality standards.

I have been asked to obtain a sworn translation

Sworn translations are legally required for official documents in several countries, including France, Spain, Italy, Poland, and the Czech Republic. For these jurisdictions, we use authorised sworn translators who are officially registered in the relevant country. The sworn translator's personal seal and signature give the document legal standing. Please note that sworn translations may carry an additional fee.

I have been asked to obtain a notarised translation

We provide notarised translations that satisfy the requirements of foreign embassies, consulates, and government authorities. The process involves our translator producing the certified translation, which is then authenticated by a qualified Notary Public who verifies the translator's identity and credentials. Select the Notarisation option during checkout and choose your destination country for an accurate quote.

I have been asked to obtain a legalised translation

A legalised translation includes an additional layer of authentication beyond notarisation. After notarisation by a Notary Public, the document is submitted to the UK Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO) for an Apostille stamp, confirming its validity for use abroad.
