A certified translation is a translation accompanied by a signed statement from the translator or translation company confirming the translation is a true, complete, and accurate representation of the original document. In the UK, certified translations are accepted by UKVI, NARIC, HMRC, courts, and universities.

A certified translation includes a statement of accuracy signed by the translator. A notarised translation goes a step further — it is certified by the translator and then witnessed and stamped by a notary public, adding an extra level of authentication. Notarised translations are typically required for legal proceedings, embassy submissions, and international use.

We offer translation services in over 100 languages, including but not limited to French, Spanish, German, Italian, Portuguese, Arabic, Chinese (Mandarin and Cantonese), Japanese, Korean, Russian, Polish, Romanian, Turkish, Hindi, Urdu, Bengali, Punjabi, and many more. If your language is not listed, please contact us and we will do our best to help.

We translate both ways — from English into other languages and from other languages into English. We can also provide translations between two non-English languages depending on availability of qualified linguists.

Translation costs depend on several factors, including the language pair, the type of service (standard, certified, or legal), word count, and turnaround time. You can get an instant quote by using our online order form, or contact us for a bespoke quotation.

Yes, we have a minimum order value which is displayed on our order page. This covers the administrative costs of processing your translation, including certification and quality checks.

Yes, VAT at 20% is applied to all orders as required by UK law. The VAT amount is shown clearly in the breakdown before you confirm your order.

Simply use our online order form: select your languages and service type, upload your document, and proceed to payment. Once your order is confirmed, our translators will begin working on it immediately. You will receive your completed translation by email.

We accept PDF, DOC, DOCX, JPG, JPEG, and PNG files. If you have a document in another format, please contact us and we will advise on the best way to submit it.

Standard turnaround is 3 business days from the time of order. We also offer an express service with a 1 business day turnaround for urgent requests. Turnaround times may vary for very large documents — we will let you know at the time of order if additional time is needed.

Completed translations are delivered digitally via email as a PDF. If you require a physical hard copy (e.g., for embassy submissions), you can select the postage option during checkout and we will send it by Royal Mail.

All our translators are native-speaking professionals with relevant qualifications and experience in their specialist fields. For certified and legal translations, we use translators who are members of recognised professional bodies such as the Institute of Translation and Interpreting (ITI) or the Chartered Institute of Linguists (CIOL).
